Presentations
The Bradley Foundation proudly spends time giving presentations to businesses, social service agencies, university classes, high schools and anyone who may be interested to have our staff present about living successfully with the challenges of disabilities and the significant strength and perseverance it takes to create a meaningful life despite these challenges and lifetime changes.
Jerry Bradley has been telling his personal story of dealing with his own mental illness and recovery for many years. It is his hope that this will educate people and ease some of the stigma behind mental illness. Jerry has presented to as few as 3 and as many as 900 people, totaling over 20,000 people. Jerry has also worked for Amistad as a Peer Support Specialist at the Maine Medical Center working with those in need while in crisis. Before that he worked for Shalom House for six years as a Peer Supporter, and Consumer Educator for eight years. Jerry knows first hand what mental illness is all about. It is his belief that you need validation, medication, education, a higher power and peer support to walk the pathway of recovery.
Call Jerry today if you would like to book and hear his story of ongoing recovery.
